5. Shep (German Shepherd, five years)
Shep would like a home with a household who understands his breed traits and will enjoy continuing his training as he settles in. Shep enjoys being outside and enjoys his daily walks, so a secure garden would be beneficial. We think Shep would prefer being the only dog in the house, but would enjoy having walking buddies once settled in. Children would be best suited that are of secondary school age and older, we do not have any history on Shep. He was found straying and remained unclaimed. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Cumbria
6. Floki (Whippet cross, 10 months)
Floki is an active 10 month old Whippet x Greyhound, he has had a wonderful start in life, so looking for a forever home who’ll continue with his training and making memories by going on lots of active adventures as well as providing him with enrichment in a calm environment to allow him to chill and relax. Floki would like a secure garden, with a high fence. He’d like to be able to get comfortable on the sofa and have a safe space that is his own. He’d like children of the house to be dog savvy, confident with dogs that can jump up and also respectful of time alone. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Cumbria
7. Blakey (Labrador cross, three years)
Blakey would make a fantastic companion for someone wanting a larger active dog but will also chill on the couch! Being a Labrador x collie (we think!) he loves treats which will come in handy when doing any future training .If you are looking for a dog like Blakey please apply! | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Cumbria
8. Phoebe (Staffie cross, seven years)
Phoebe is a gorgeous seven-year-old Staffy Crossbreed who is full of fun! She is bursting with energy and need adopters who'll keep her busy and stick to good routine. Children and other pets won't work in her home and she'll need someone around all the time to slowly build her up to being left. She'll need to be walked in quieter areas where she wont see many dogs initially as she can be quite barky when she sees them close by, but we hope with gradual training this might improve as she's doing great with her training in general. A secure garden is a must as she loves to play off lead and will help with her housetraining too. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Leeds
