Here are the dogs looking for a home in time for Christmas across the North and North East.

Christmas is right around the corner so here are some of the Dogs Trust dogs searching for a home just in time.

The dogs are looking across the North and North East for a family from centres such as Darlington, Leeds and Cumbria.

But remember, a dog is forever and not just for Christmas.

Here are the 13 of the gorgeous pups in need of a home.

Daisy is a sweet, loving girl who adores the company of her humans more than anything. She will be best suited to being the only pooch in the home and would prefer to be walked in quite areas so that dogs off lead don't run up to her. She can live with children who are aged 12 and over. She will need to have someone around to help her settle in and build up her leaving hours gradually over time.

She walks beautifully on the lead and will still enjoy going out for walks to explore with her family followed by heading home to find a cosy spot to snuggle up in. She's good in the car too which is great for any adventures a little further away from the home.
