Christmas is right around the corner so here are some of the Dogs Trust dogs searching for a home just in time.
The dogs are looking across the North and North East for a family from centres such as Darlington, Leeds and Cumbria.
But remember, a dog is forever and not just for Christmas.
Here are the 13 of the gorgeous pups in need of a home.

5. Daisy (French Bulldog, four-years-old)
Daisy is a sweet, loving girl who adores the company of her humans more than anything. She will be best suited to being the only pooch in the home and would prefer to be walked in quite areas so that dogs off lead don't run up to her. She can live with children who are aged 12 and over. She will need to have someone around to help her settle in and build up her leaving hours gradually over time. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Darlington

6. Meg (Staffordshire Bull Terrier, 11-years-old)
Meg is a 11-year-old girl who has a love for toys and having play time really brings her to life. She enjoys having games of fetch and raggy. She walks beautifully on the lead and will still enjoy going out for walks to explore with her family followed by heading home to find a cosy spot to snuggle up in. Meg is such a sweetheart who will be such a lovely addition to a home. | Dogs Trust Photo: Dogs Trust Darlington

7. Edna (Bulldog, five-seven years)
Edna has stolen the hearts of her carers her with a fun personality and affectionate side. It can take a bit of time to get into her friendship circle but with the help of treats, which she loves, it is so worth it! She's enjoys playtimes and being out and about exploring. She's good in the car too which is great for any adventures a little further away from the home. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Darlington

8. Lizzie (Dachshund, five-seven years)
Lizzie is a total cuddle bug, she loves to jump up on the furniture and snuggle beside you, or sit on your lap, always keen to go for a walk, she travels well in the car. She does get excited and jumps up when getting ready to go walking and can pull on the lead, she’d benefit from further loose lead walking training. She enjoys playing with soft toys that she can shake around. Lizzie knows some basic commands such as sit. | Dogs Trust Photo: Dogs Trust Cumbria
