5. Ace (Rottweiler, 5-7 years)
If you are a fan of the breed and looking to do fun games and into your dog training, then Ace is the guy for you! He loves his food and toys and these will be great to incorporate into his daily activities. He enjoys his walks but can be eager on the lead so would benefit from a family who are confident with larger breeds that can help with some loose lead work. It’ll be a very rewarding experience to work with Ace and welcome him into the family. (Dogs Trust)
6. Tyson (Shar Pei, 2-5 years)
Tyson would never turn down an adventure with his family but is very happy cuddling up with you on the sofa as well. Being a sensitive soul Tyson can struggle to settle in unfamiliar environments, so will need a patient family who are dedicated to helping him settle into his new home. Once Tyson has built a bond with you, his affectionate side really shines through and he starts to show his wonderful personality. Loki has had a lot of upheaval so his next home needs to be his forever home to give him stability. He needs gradual socialising with dogs that he doesn’t know. He can be very vocal on lead when he sees them, so he will prefer to be walked in quieter areas and having his own secure garden for off lead fun times. Loki needs owners to be around for him for the majority of the day as he doesn’t cope with being alone. New owners will need to be prepared to get him used to being by himself very gradually. Don’t let Heath’s age (12 years old) fool you, this little pooch is still full of life. He loves to wrestle with his foster brother and enjoys and good old play, but then will retire to the sofa or his bed for a snooze. When he’s not playing with his pal, food is Heath’s favourite thing to hunt for and he isn’t shy about watching his foster carer at meal times.
