Dogs Trust: 13 stunning dogs and puppies looking for a forever home in the North East

Here are the dogs hoping to find a forever home this week.

There are so many puppies in search of their forever home this week across the North and North East.

Darlington, Cumbria and Leeds rehoming centres are hoping to find lovely homes for their dogs in order to give them the best possible lives.

Lenny is an adorable 2 year old Great Dane. He is looking for a home where his new adopters will be around all the time initially to help him adjust to his new environment and then with time and patience, gradually build up the time that he can be left. He has shown previously that he prefers a calm environment without children, so we're looking for an adult only home for him. He will need a private, enclosed garden as he loves to explore and play off-lead. He'll eventually be able to have dog walking friends but would need to be the only dog in his home as this will help him settle quicker. As you'd expect from his size he is strong on lead, but he's perfectly manageable in capable hands. He will need to be walked on lead and muzzled.
