Here are the dogs hoping to find their forever home this week.

There are so many puppies in search of their forever home this week across the North and North East.

Darlington, Cumbria and Leeds rehoming centres are hoping to find lovely homes for their dogs in order to give them the best possible lives.

Blake is a really lovely boy who adores receiving all the attention and having a snuggle on the sofa. Although a senior chap he's still up for a walk in quieter areas followed by a game of tug in the garden. Blake is a fan of his treats which will be good for furthering his skills. He's got some lovely manners already in place and will happily show of his 'sit'.

Ivy is a lovely 2 year old lurcher. She can have a worried side initially, but once she has been given the time to get to know you, she will want to be cuddled up next to you on the sofa. Due to her having a worried side, she wouldn't be able to live with young children but teenagers who are used to dogs and giving them their space would be fine. Due to her natural prey drive, she cannot live with any cats or small animals. Ivy is good out on her walks and walks nicely. She is happy to say hello to dogs out and about, but would need to be the only dog in the home as she prefers her own space. Once settled, she will be fine left for a few hours whilst you nip out. She is coming on well with her house training, but may need a refresher in her new home.

Crouchy loves his walkies and gets excitable when he sees his lead coming out! As he is an ex-racer, he does need to wear a muzzle when out and about so he's not able to chase after any small furries, but he is comfortable and used to wearing this. Crouchy enjoys playing with his toys and once he is settled, his true personality will come out - so be careful not to leave anything to tasty on the countertops! Crouchy is currently living off site in a foster home, where he is getting all the love and attention he deserves.

Crouchy loves his walkies and gets excitable when he sees his lead coming out! Dibble is an amazing 7 year old Bulldog who has won the hearts of the staff here at Dogs Trust. He just loves being around people and spends all day in one of our offices getting lots of love and attention as he isn't a fan of his kennel. Dibble isn't one for walking too far and would suit a less active household with a nice enclosed garden to potter in and brush up on his house training. He would be great for anyone working from home as he settles well if someone is around and enjoys a long snooze in a comfy bed or arm chair. Dibble is friendly with dogs but not overly fussed. We think he would prefer to be the only dog so the attention can be all his !! He Loves the car too and doesn't want to get out once he's in. Dibble should be fine with secondary school children as we don't have a lot of history on him.
