Dogs Trust Darlington currently have 44 gorgeous dogs and puppies up for adoption.
The North East centre is looking for lovely people to care and provide the adorable creatures with a second chance and loving home.
Here are the nine adorable pups searching for a forever home.

5. Olive (Jack Russell Cross, 8+ years)
Adoptees will be asked to visit Olive a couple of times prior to going home. This is because she does prefer slower paced introductions that allow time for her personality to shine through. When she does make friends, she loves to be with you and will be your little shadow. She is quite happy to entertain herself with toys though. Beautiful Olive is going to make a great little companion for someone who has plenty of time to shower her with affection. Our vet team are currently waiting on some medical results for Olive and she will require on going eye treatment. We will be happy to discuss this with Olive’s new family (Credit: Dogs Trust) | Dogs Trust

6. Sam (Border Collie, 2-5 years)
Sam is a great lad who is full of character. He loves playing with toys and will happily chase after them for a game of fetch. He is a foodie boy who really loves a tasty treat which will help him with his basic training. Sam has enjoyed some off-site trips with one of our volunteers who says he is an absolute pleasure and travels very well in the car. He is kept on the lead for walkies which will need to be continued for future adventures (Credit: Dogs Trust) | Dogs Trust

7. Bagel (Crossbreed, 8+ years)
Bagel is slowly starting to come out of her shell and is showing us her loving personality. She’s enjoying playing with her toys and really enjoys her treats, these will make great rewards for training. (Dogs Trust) | Dogs Trust

8. Zena (Bulldog Cross, 2-5 years)
Zena is a loving girl who is going to make a great pupil for training. She already knows a number of tricks and would enjoy learning a few more. Her love of food will make for a great reward and aid her on going training. Having a game of tug and exploring with her nose are some of her favourite ways to spend her days.
