Gallery: Stunning mansion near Newcastle star Callum Wilson and Jesmond Golden Triangle hits market

Allan Saint-Maximin, Callum Wilson, Jonas Gutierrez, Lee Westwood and Sting are just some famous neighbours past and present to this enviable home that has just hit the market.

A stunning five-bed mansion has hit the Newcastle property market in Jesmond and its certain to turn heads, not just for its lavish inside, but for notable famous neighbours too.

Some may still think of Jesmond as a student hub full of students staggering home after one too many at 5 am, but the neighbourhood is much more than just its friendly scholars. Some of its streets towards the leafy paths of Jesmond Dene contain multi-million-pound properties and some notable residents that come with them.

Mercurial Newcastle United winger Allan Saint-Maximin is known to live around the Golden Triangle and, on a recent podcast, striker and England star Callum Wilson also revealed he called Jesmond home. Over the years golfer Lee Westwood, footballers Kevin Nolan, and Jonas Gutierrez, as well as singers Sting and Bryan Ferry have all lived in the student hotspot.

One of Jesmond’s most luxurious mansions is now looking for a new resident as La Sagesse hits the market for a cool £1.8 million. The property isn’t technically on the Golden Triangle, but just around the corner, minutes from those hallowed streets.

Speaking about Newcastle’s trendy property hotspot, Pat Robson Director Tim Nixon said: “Despite an enduring reputation as a student hub, there is of course a great deal more to Jesmond. Tucked away between Osborne Road and Jesmond Dene, the streets of Adderstone Crescent, Lindisfarne Road and Glastonbury Grove are collectively known as ‘The Golden Triangle’, and the houses there represent some of the most desirable in the city.

“These high-value homes enjoy privacy and seclusion however their super-central position, just moments from Jesmond’s famous restaurants, bars and shops ensure that residents fortunate enough to live there really do enjoy the best of both worlds.”
