The cast of the upcoming series of Geordie Shore are currently filming in Thailand.

The stars of Newcastle-based MTV reality show Geordie Shore recently joked that they could still be filming for the series when they are in their 60s, in a funny video uploaded to Instagram.

Some of the cast members confirmed for the show’s return include; Chloe Ferry, Chantelle Connolly, Scott Timlin (Scotty T), Sophie Kasaei, Abbie Holborn, James Tindale, Kyle Christie, Jay Gardner, Nathan Henry, Ricci Guarnaccio and Holly Hagan-Blyth.

Some of the above cast took part in the comedy video which was uploaded to Ferry’s Instagram account, alongside a caption that read: “Just to clarify I’m 28 😂 #geordieshore”.

In the video, the cast can be seen dancing in a beach villa, with a filter on their faces that make them look like elderly people.

Following the previous season, which was a dramatic stay in Cyprus for Marnie Simpson and former X Factor UK star Casey Johnson’s honeymoon, there have been a few cast departures from the show.

Those who decided to leave the show behind for now included; Charlotte Crosby and her fiance Jake Ankers, as well as Aaron Chalmers who has left to focus on his family.

Marnie and Casey were also among those to leave the show, however Marnie surprised eagle-eyed fans who spotted her on Ferry’s Instagram Story, wearing a mic pack, giving hint that she is actually back for the 25th series in Thailand.

Geordie Shore first began in 2011, showing a group of young adults partying in Newcastle’s bustling bars and clubs, as well as living together.

Geordie Shore is available to watch on MTV and Paramount+.
