Little Mix, originally made up of Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jesy Nelson were formed on The X Factor and went on to win the show in 2011.
The group went on to have an incredibly successful career lasting 11 years, before announcing a temporary hiatus in 2022.
During their career, the girl group achieved five UK number one hits, a number one album and seven successful UK concert tours.
With Perrie and Jade both hailing from the North East (South Shields specifically), the girl group are definitely one of our hometown heroes.
