I'm a Celebrity... Get Me out of Here! favourite Giovanna Fletcher will spend a week on Tyneside next year as part of a new play at the Newcastle Theatre Royal.

The author and actress won the Ant and Dec fronted reality show in 2020 and will perform in Wish You Were Dead when the production comes to the North East.

Newcastle Theatre Royal will host the play from Monday, March 13 to Saturday, March 18 2023 with George Rainsford and Clive Mantle starring alongside Giovanna.

The I'm a Celeb winner has theatrical credits that include 2:22 A Ghost Story and Ivanov in the West End before being cast in the theatre-adaption of the Peter James novel.

Wish You Were Dead follows the adventures of DSI Roy Grace and the crimes around the Brighton area - the series has become a hit drama on ITV.

Speaking about heading out on the road Giovanna said: “I’m really looking forward to appearing on stage as Cleo in this brand new play, and excited to work with George and Clive - two wonderful actors I’ve heard great things about.
