In The Park Festival is a brand-new music festival heading to Newcastle in May, with chart-topping acts set to headline.

In May 2024, In The Park Festival will be set up at the Leazes Park in Newcastle, providing the people of Newcastle with two days of live music and entertainment.

Here is everything you need to know about In The Park, ahead of its opening next month. 

When will In The Park be held?

In The Park Festival will be held across two days, across the May Bank Holiday weekend. The first show will be held on Friday, May 3 and the second will be held on Sunday, May 5.

Who are the headline acts for In The Park? 

Tom Grennan will be the first headline act, performing on the first show of the festival. Grennan is known for his big hits such as Found What I’ve Been Looking For and Lionheart (Fearless) with Joel Corry. 

The second headline act is Rag’n’Bone Man, who is known for his distinctive vocals and chart topping hits with Calvin Harris including Giant and Lovers In A Past Life. His two albums Human (2017) and Life By Misadventure (2021), both reached number one on the Official Albums Chart.

Who are the support acts for In The Park? 

The support acts have now been confirmed for In The Park. Scottish rising star Brooke Combe will be joining Tom Grennan on the Friday show, as well as a special guest who is set to be announced soon.

Joining Rag’n’Bone man on the Saturday show is young rapper 5onger, Liverpool band Red Rum Club, and Newcastle singer-songwriter Liam Fender.

How do I get tickets for In The Park?

Tickets are on sale now and are available to purchase via the In The Park Festival website. A general admission ticket per show is priced at £55.94 and a VIP ticket is priced at £96.05.

What is the age limit for In The Park? 

The entry age on both shows at In The Park is 11-years-old and older. However, anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. 

What are the opening times for In The Park?

In The Park will open from 4pm on Friday, and will end at 10.30pm. Last entry is at 7pm. For the Saturday show, it will open at 3pm and end at 10pm, with last entry at 6.30pm.
