Let’s raise the woof! Newcastle ‘aparthotel’ launches dog-friendly stays

An apartment hotel in Newcastle has announced the launch of dog-friendly apartments, to cater to those with a furry companion.

91 Aparthotel on Jesmond Road, will now be able to accommodate one large dog or two smaller dogs staying in the apartment, meaning that those visiting the city will now be able to enjoy their stay with their pets.

The apartment hotel is launching a number of dog-friendly apartments, equipped with a soft dog bed, blanket and water bowl, to ensure pets feel at home during their visit.

Dogs will also be welcome to join their owner in the neighbouring venue, Zio’s Bar, which can be accessed from 91 Aparthotel’s outdoor terrace.

To celebrate the launch of their dog-friendly apartments, 91 Aparthotel will be offering all dogs who stay before Thursday, August 31 a complimentary “doggy bag” which will be filled with toys and treats.

Dog owners will also be in with a chance of winning a dinner for two in Zio’s Bar if they book and stay in the accommodation with their pet before Saturday, September 30.

A fee of £20 per dog, per night will be charged for a pet to stay at 91 Aparthotel and a £200 dog security will be taken at check-in to cover any potential damage. Dogs must be always kept on lead within the public areas in and outside the building and must not be left unattended in the apartments.
