1. Flump and Wham (11 weeks)
Flump & Wham are 2 11-week old sisters currently looking for a forever home together. They are looking for a home with outdoor access, and could live with children of any age and other vaccinated & neutered pets. Flump & Wham are your typical fun loving mischievous young kittens! They were born at the shelter with two other kittens that have since been rehomed, but as they are the only two left they have become quite bonded to one another and are now looking for a home that would be interested in rehoming the pair of them together. In order to rehome a kitten, we do ask for a donation of £125.00 per kitten. Included in the rehome donation, all our kittens are vaccinated, microchipped & health checked. If not already neutered, neutering costs are covered by the shelter. You would also receive a free health check with Blythman & Partners and 4 weeks free insurance with Petplan. | NDCS Photo: Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter

2. Beanie (four years)
Beanie is an outdoor cat, who would prefer to live with adults only, and would prefer to be the only pet in the home. Beanie initially struggled to adapt to life at the shelter, but since Beanie was moved to a pen in a quieter area, she’s become a very happy cat! She has become more confident & approaches everyone for attention. She loves the attention of being groomed and will rub into the brush. She will follow you around rubbing into your legs for more attention. She seems to even enjoy being picked up and will even happily watch out the window with you for a while. She can still get spooked when she sees a dog or something scary and will run back into her pen. With this in mind, it definitely seems a home where she is the only pet will be best suited so she can have all the attention from her new family on herself. | NDCS Photo: Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter

3. Leo (one year)
Leo is an outdoor cat who could live with children aged 10+. Leo is a young lad who hasn’t had the best start to life, being passed through 5 homes in his 1.5 years of life! Leo is a sweet and affectionate cat who adores attention. He has been known to enjoy playing with bells, balls, and foil toys, although sometimes he can get a bit carried away in the fun and enjoy playing with hands and fingers! Despite his occasional playful antics, Leo’s loving nature makes him a wonderful companion for anyone looking for a furry friend to brighten their days. Leo likes to be close to you and will often run around under your feet trying to get you to notice him! | NDCS Photo: Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter

4. Jessie (seven years)
Jessie is an outdoor cat who can live with children age 5+. Jessie is just the sweetest girl who loves nothing more than a bit of fuss! Jessie loves to be close to you, and she sometimes even jumps on your back to get closer to you, and rub her head against you. She’s a very chatty girl who will meow at you for attention. She loves her cat tree, she likes being up high and to watch the world go by. Jessie’s been in our care for a long time due to medical issues, we’ve got to know her well and can vouch what an absolute sweetheart she is! Jessie has a history of urinary issues. Whilst these are not currently affecting Jessie, it is worth noting that if Jessie requires any related investigation or treatment in the future for any urinary issues, it would be unlikely to be covered by pet insurers as it will be classed as a pre-existing condition. The rehoming team will be able to go into more detail with any successful applicant. | NDCS Photo: Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter
