Mehrdad Ghodoussi teases Newcastle United star after ‘blessed’ post

Newcastle United co-owner Mehrdad Ghodoussi is becoming known for his engagement with fans and players alike on social media.

In fact, he’s even got a few recurring jokes up his sleeve.

Yesterday Fabian Schar posted a video to Instagram, highlighting his best moments of the season just gone. Alongside the post the Swiss defender said: “Blessed for the Season 22/23🖤🤍 Thank you for the incredible support. Can‘t wait for next season!!”

Amongst the love and admiration from fans, including Nick Pope commenting ‘Broski 😍🔥❤️,’ the co-owner jibed ‘Bring me back some swiss chocolate pls 😁😘’

This isn’t the first time Ghodoussi has mentioned chocolate in regards to Schar either. Back in April, after United’s 4-1 win against Everton, the 31-year-old posted a compilation of photos from the game. And who was lurking in the comments but Ghodoussi, this time likening the footballer to the Swiss delicacy.
