MISSING: 14-year-old Brighton girl believed to now be in North East

A public appeal has been made to Newcastle residents to help find a missing Brighton teenager who is believed to be in the North East.

Leah Redman was reported missing to Sussex Police on January 18 after leaving her home address.

Sussex Police followed enquiries to trace the 14-year-old near her home but now is believed to have travelled up North as she has links to Sunderland, Newcastle and Durham.

Officers from Northumbria Police are assisting with the search and are asking anyone in the area who has information, or has seen Leah, to get in touch.

Leah is described as slim with long brown hair, 5’7”, and was last seen wearing a cream-coloured jacket and black Nike trainers.
