Newcastle 5 day weather forecast: city set for a hot end to the week
It was a washout Tuesday on Tyneside with heavy rains causing havoc across the area.
Showers were quick to cause floods in Newcastle after a dry September, which meant disruption on the roads and railways.

It was a bump back down to autumnal British reality for Geordies, who had still been basking in 20-degree heat just over a week before.
Those heats may be gone for good until next summer but, despite Tuesday’s storms, the rest of the week looks to be pleasant in Newcastle.
Here’s what’s in store.*
