Police have released images of a man they want to speak to after a robbery at the Apple Store in Newcastle.

Officers received a report that two iPads with a combined worth of £5,000 were taken from the Apple store in Eldon Square at about 3:30 pm on Tuesday, November 22 last year.

It was reported that a man spoke to a shop assistant and asked to look at two iPads. He then took the items without payment and pushed the shop assistant over before making off from the scene.

Officers have now released images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the robbery. He was in the area at the time and may be able to help officers with their enquiries.
