Chloe Ferry: Geordie Shore star surprises mum with a glittery 60th birthday hat before jetting off to Magaluf

Chloe Ferry has surprised her mum with a novelty birthday gift ahead of their celebratory getaway. The Geordie Shore star,27, from Sunderland, presented her mum with a stunning glittery hat with the number 60 embellished in jewels on the front to celebrate her birthday.

Chloe’s mum, Liz, celebrated her 60th this week and the pair are heading off to Magaluf to enjoy sunny skies and cocktails.Chloe took to Instagram to share her journey to the airport and showed off her unique gift from celebrity favourite ‘Glitter Crowns’.

Chloe said: “So I am literally on the way to the airport now to meet my mum. Little does she know I have got her this hat to wear on the plane, all day in Magaluf. Of course, everyone knows it’s her 60th. How gorgeous is it? I actually wore one for my birthday last year.”

With both Scarlett Moffat and Alex Gerrard modelling the glittery hats on their social media platforms, Liz was delighted to don the sparkling sailor’s cap. Chloe shouted to the crowds in the queue: “She’s 60!” to which her mother responded: “This is bl**dy terrible”.

Chloe looked chic sporting a turquoise lycra two piece, silver hoops and oversized shades from Chloe Ferry Sunglasses. With her glowing tan, nude lips and freshly highlighted hair, the star looked set for a glamorous birthday holiday. Over the past few days Chloe shared how she overhauled her appearance with luxury beauty treatments in preparation for the trip.

She visited Hair by Nikita for a curly blow dry and treated herself to some champagne highlights whilst quipping: “The only pain I like is champagne.” She also had a French manicure by @cm_houseofaesthetics which she captioned on Instagram: “Magaluf Nails.”

After queuing to drop off their luggage a raspy Chloe, who has been feeling under the weather this week, said: “I literally sound like Tyson Fury right now but, darling, nothing is stopping me from getting a drink in here.”

Luggage deposited, Chloe, Liz and friends headed to the airport bar to enjoy a few preflight birthday beverages and tax-free shopping. Chloe treated herself to a bottle of Valentino ‘Born In Roma Donna Intense For Her’ perfume before boarding the flight.

This is the second time Chloe has been on a holiday abroad this month. Two weeks ago she jetted off to the Spanish city in Costa del Sol with pals, including co-stars Sophie Kasaei and Abbie Holborn where she partied most days.
