Perrie Edwards has been experimenting with “every sound out there” for her debut solo album, which is currently in the works. The former Little Mix singer, 29, has reportedly enlisted the help of 11 producers and songwriters to create “the best” music that she can for fans.
"Perrie has a revolving door of hitmakers at her home studio in Cheshire, writing with everyone from Raye to legendary Steve Mac - as well as obscure US rock band Before You Exit,” a source told The Sunday Mirror.

They added: "She’s experimenting with every sound out there and churning out hits. Only the best will make the cut - she’s ensuring fans won’t be disappointed."
Earlier this year, eagle-eyed fans noticed that a song named ‘Same Place, Different View’ was registered to ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) with Perrie listed as one of the songwriters.
The Little Mix star previously spoke to OfficialCharts.com about the progress of her new material, saying: "It’s all going really well. I’m just having so much fun experimenting with different sounds.
“It’s really good. I’m so lucky, I’m working with such amazing people. I’m really grateful. I want to make music that I love,” she added.

She told Grazia magazine: "I don’t have a set timeline. My label has told me to just go with the flow, and enjoy discovering what my sound is going to be, the fact there’s no deadline in my life just makes me the happiest person. I feel so lucky to just be having fun."
Perrie, who has a 22-month-old son with fiance Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, also teased details about their wedding, after getting engaged one year ago. The former X-Factor star revealed that Alex is keen to lock in plans for their special day.
She explained: “There’s so much going on right now. I’m in the studio, whilst also having my fiancée being like, ‘When are we going to start planning the wedding?’ Again, it’s like starting a business!”
