Police appeal for help finding THIS man after city centre assault

Police are looking to speak to a man as part of an investigation in an assault outside a Newcastle bar.

Northumbria Police have appealed to the public as they look into an incident from Saturday, August 7

It was reported that at around 2:25 am on that day a man was approached by another male he didn’t know.

He was then punched outside Portofino’s on Mosley Street and left the area.

The 27-year-old victim sustained injuries to his face and reported the incident to police.

Officers have been looking into the incident by reviewing CCTV footage and now have identified a man who they would like to speak to.

He was in the area at the time of the incident and may have information that can assist with the investigation.
