Both men then left the store via the main doors on foot.
The incident was later reported to police, who subsequently launched an investigation.
While enquiries are still ongoing, officers suspect that this could be linked to another burglary that took place at an address on Heathfield Crescent in Kenton later that month, between 6.15 pm and 6.30 pm on Friday, March 24.
In that incident, it was reported that a man forced entry into a house on the street and took a bag containing a purse, debit cards and cash before leaving the area on foot.
