Queen’s Platinum Jubilee: 5 properties in Newcastle and the North East fit for royalty
The Queen has a comfortable life in Buckingham Palace but, should she fancy a move to the North East, these mansions might take her fancy
There's a lot of love for the Queen in Newcastle and across the North East as the monarch's Platinum Jubilee is celebrated this weekend.
Her Majesty spends the vast majority of her time down south taking up residence in Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle.
Those homes aren't too shabby, but what they don't have is swarms of Geordies around and a Greggs at every corner.
There's a lot to love about life in the North East, and the Queen would no doubt take to living up in this neck of the woods.
Just in case Queen Elizabeth is thinking of moving house, NewcastleWorld looks at five mansions on the North East property market that she might like to call home.
