Sandro Tonali’s latest social media activity has got Newcastle United buzzing

Sandro Tonali’s touchdown on Tyneside has kickstarted the Newcastle United midfielder’s initiation into Geordie life.

Despite only staying a couple of days due to being given an extended break by Eddie Howe along with Anthony Gordon due to their under-21 Euros efforts, the Italian has already begun to immerse himself in Toon culture.

And nothing shows this more than his latest Instagram activities. Over the past 48 hours, Tonali has followed everyone who’s anyone in Newcastle. Spanning his new teammates, to Toon legend Alan Shearer and even Sam Fender.

The 23-year-old’s engagement with the club and its culture has made fans even more excited for his debut in a black and white shirt.

Fans will have to hold on to their excitement a bit longer, however, with Tonali set to miss the pre-season friendlies against Gateshead and Rangers. It is expected he’ll be travelling with United to America for the Summer Series.
