Shop ‘vintage treasure’ at Newcastle Primark as WornWell concession opens

A brand-new vintage concession is set to open in Newcastle’s Primark Store this week.

The WornWell vintage concession has been in partnership with Primark for one year, and to celebrate the retailer is now expanding its WornWell offering to the likes of Newcastle and Glasgow, bringing a total number of 10 concessions throughout their stores in the UK and Ireland.

Primark’s first WornWell concession was unveiled at their flagship store in Birmingham, and has since been opened in Manchester, Oxford Street East, Bristol, Cardiff and Dublin.

WornWell offers customers the opportunity to shop pre-loved clothing pieces, both branded and non-branded within Primark stores. Newcastle shoppers will now be able to get their hands on one-of-a-kind vintage pieces.

Tim Kelly, Director of New Business Development, Primark said: “We are delighted to be expanding our partnership with the Vintage Wholesale Company to bring WornWell to two more UK stores this year, starting with Newcastle this week.

By the end of this year, WornWell will be in 10 Primark stores across the UK and Ireland, offering customers even more reasons to visit their local store.”

WornWell was established by The Vintage Wholesale Company and stocks vintage treasure from the 70s, 80s and 90s.

The Vintage Wholesale Company director Riccardo Seaton said: “Over the past year, we’ve been thrilled with how positively Primark shoppers have responded to this partnership. We’re so excited to open another WornWell in Newcastle this week, with Glasgow following later in the year, and we look forward to growing our partnership with Primark even further in the months and years to come.”

The WornWell concession in Newcastle’s Primark will be located on the second floor of the store.
