31-year-old Joe won television music show, The X Factor back in 2009 at only 18 years old, beating Olly Murs and Stacey Solomon for the top spot. His chart battle for the Christmas number one of that year was a historic pop culture moment, as he lost out to a 1992 rock song, Killing In The Name by Rage Against The Machine.

In the present day, Joe still works as a performer. Last year, he embarked on a UK tour named Freedom, which was in honour of George Michael and his biggest hits. He also returned to Newcastle’s Theatre Royal to perform in their 2022 pantomime, Cinderella. Joe played the role of The Fairy Godfather.

Celebrate The Music will take place on Sunday March 12, and Joe will perform two shows. The first show will take place at 2.30pm, and the second show will take place at 7.30pm.

After the news was announced via The Customs House’s Facebook page, excited fans of Joe took to the comments, tagging their friends in the comments. One person wrote: “Aww I love Joe”, while another tagged a friend and wrote: “This has your name all over it!”
