Popular food and drink hub STACK Newcastle is being forced to close its doors for four days next week.

STACK will have to stop trading to accommodate the upcoming demolition work on Commercial Union House.

The building is being pulled down as part of the Pilgrim Place redevelopment works, something Newcastle United owner Jamie Reuben is playing a role in.

STACK will close from Sunday, February 20 until 4 pm on Thursday, February 24.

Following that the business will operate on reduced hours on weekdays, opening at 4 pm whilst the work takes place for two week.s The venue will operate as usual on weekends opening from 10 am until late.

STACK has also said that changes to its layout will be undertaken during the closures including some food businesses moving into the main place and additional upstairs decking for seating.
