The Newcastle United midfielder was filmed getting into the Halloween spirit.

Joelinton got into the spooky spirit with some trick-or-treating last night.

The Newcastle United midfielder got all dressed up to partake in the Halloween tradition with his children and ended up creating a terrifying video while out and about.

The Brazilian’s partner Thays Gondim initially posted a photo of the footballer in an orange jumpsuit and some flip flops- I admit not very scary.

Thays shared Joelinton’s prisoner costume along with the caption ‘naughty thief, stole my heart.’

But during the trick-or-treating, Joelinton’s friend posted a video of him standing at the side of the road with a clown mask on as cars drove past.

An utterly terrifying moment, one fan reposted the moment to social media with the comment: ’Joelinton dressed like an evil clown and lurking at the side of the road, ready to traumatise unsuspecting residents...’

Hopefully, this is where the terror ends as Newcastle United take on Manchester United in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup tonight at Old Trafford (8:15 pm kick-off.)
