Vicky Pattison shares emotional steps she has taken to start a family

Former Geordie Shore star, Vicky Pattison has shared with her fans that she and her fiance Ercan Ramadan have taken serious steps towards becoming parents.

35-year-old Vicky, became engaged to long-time boyfriend Ercan in February of this year, and have been planning their future together since.

Vicky has mentioned previously that she and Ercan had plans to start a family together, and that she was planning on taking certain steps to help her to become pregnant in the future.

Today, December 16, Vicky posted a photo of herself and Ercan outside of London Women’s Clinic, with a caption explaining to her 5.2 million followers why they were there. In the caption she said: “Ercan and I took our first proper steps to hopefully adding to our family in the future.”

Vicky explained that the process had been an emotional one, but that she was incredibly grateful to the team at London Women’s Clinic who were “so kind, understanding and just lovely to us as we were pretty nervous and emotional.”

She further explained that she and Ercan underwent a series of scans and tests to find out if they were able to have children. Thankfully, she explained that they are both “healthy and in a good position to prepare for the egg retrieval process in the New Year!”

Vicky and Ercan have decided that they will be freezing their embryos, so that they are fully prepared when they are ready to start a family together.

The geordie presenter and television presenter also assured women that “there is more than one route to motherhood and happiness.” She also explained that she believes there is a lack of honest information and that she will be sharing every step of the process, so that women can have an insight into the process.

She also spoke about the process during a recent episode of her podcast The Secret To, uploaded yesterday, (December 16) which was titled Doing Pregnancy Your Own Way. In the episode, she interviewed model Bianca Gascogine (the daughter of Newcastle footballer Paul Gascoigne) who is currently pregnant with her first child.
