People who are unvaccinated can still obtain the pass if they present proof of a negative lateral flow test or a positive PCR test result in the past six months.

The new rule was included in an array of new restrictions and mitigations designed to combat the spread of the Omicron Covid-19 variant.

Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, said the requirement to produce the NHS COVID Pass at all venues where there are more than 10,000 people will begin on Wednesday December 15, 2021.

How do Liverpool fans apply for a vaccine passport in England?

People living in England can download their own personal NHS COVID Pass via the NHS App or the online NHS COVID Pass service.

You can visit ‘Getting a digital NHS COVID Pass’ and start your application now.

Who can get a digital NHS COVID Pass?

If you’re aged 16 or over, you can get a digital NHS COVID Pass.

People under 16 may need to show a negative test result.

People under 18 do not have to show proof of their vaccination or test results for domestic events or venues in England.

To show your vaccination status, you must have been vaccinated in England, Wales or the Isle of Man.

If you were vaccinated in Scotland, you need to both be registered with a GP in England and live in England.

If you have had:
