12 Newcastle United targets facing contract decisions including Howe favourite, Spain star and Serie A winner

There are a number of Newcastle United-linked players heading towards the end of their current contracts.

Newcastle United will hope to claim a major boost in their battle with Financial Fair Play regulations by securing further sponsor deals and progressing in the Champions League over the remainder of the season.

That will help the Magpies owners in their bid to strengthen Eddie Howe’s squad and realise their ambitious targets on and off the pitch over the coming years. United’s recruitment has been impressive ever since the PIF-led consortium finally brought an end to Mike Ashley’s ownership in October 2021 after the likes of Kieran Trippier, Bruno Guimaraes, Alexander Isak and Anthony Gordon all impressed after moving to Tyneside.

Although the Magpies continued to be linked with a whole host of big money additions in the media at home and around Europe, there are several reported targets that could soon be available in cut-price moves in what would provide a further boost in the battle with FFP restrictions.

NewcastleWorld identifies 12 players that could be available over the coming months as they approach the final stages of the existing deals with their current clubs.
