'Agent Osula' as Newcastle United striker sends 'join us' message to summer transfer target
With the Premier League title wrapped up and relegation already decided, all focus is on the race for Champions League qualification.
There are just four games left to play this season and Newcastle United are among the clubs competing for a place at Europe’s top table next term. A top five finish will seal it as it stands they are in the driving seat after Saturday’s 3-0 win over Ipswich Town lifted them to third in the table.

Eddie Howe said it himself, having Champions League football is “game-changing” and could unlock many doors during this summer’s transfer window. So, the pressure is on, though that isn’t stopping the players from enjoying some downtime - and rightly so.

Will Osula has fast become a popular member of Newcastle’s squad since joining from Sheffield United last summer and has recently shown supporters what a lively character he is during the Carabao Cup celebrations. His ‘Ws in the chat’ saying (I’ll be honest, I’m not really sure what it means) is now a regular catchline, especially after he opened his Premier League goalscoring account at the weekend.
The 21-year-old has also managed to strike up a close bond with Alexander Isak and Joe Willock, and in a video on Osula’s TikTok, the pair are filmed eating Nigerian fufu, as cooked by Osula himself.

Newcastle United transfer target replies
But not everyone got the invite and one man who made his feelings known in the comments was Nottingham Forest forward Anthony Elanga. It was all light-hearted, of course, but Elanga asked “where’s my invite bro?” to which Osula replied “anytime my bro join us”.
And to little surprise, the exchange between the pair sparked interest among Newcastle supporters. One fan even joked: “Agent Osula gonna get a call from the FA for tapping up.”
Eddie Howe’s side enquired about signing the former Manchester United winger last summer and retain an interest ahead of the summer transfer window.

“But Nottingham is also a big club, they have won two Champions Leagues, even though it was before I was born. But I’m happy in Nottingham and have a contract there.
“Isak talked to me about it. But I said the same to him as I say to you. We have a good relationship and good chemistry when we play together. But I have a contract with Nottingham. I’m focusing on Nottingham and hope to have a good season, then we’ll see what happens.”
