Allan Saint-Maximin is no stranger to calling out haters on social media.

Allan Saint-Maximin has brutally hit out at a Manchester United supporter after they tweeted Newcastle United was a ‘small club’ and that Sunderland are better.

Earlier today the NUFC Twitter account posted a quote from the Frenchman saying: “You know how I love the fans in Newcastle. They give me everything and I will always be so grateful for all the love- I love them as well.”

This prompted a lot of love from Geordies everywhere, however there was a bit of hate.

The Man United and Rangers fan replied ‘Small club, Sunderland better.’

But it’s well-known that Maxi is the King of Twitter, often taking swipes at his critics by embarrassing them. This time United’s no.10 replied with a photo of a person struggling with a test on snapchat with the caption ‘He got 0/20’.

The winger’s love for Newcastle is undisputable, however a cryptic social media post yesterday prompted some Toon fans to worry about his future at the club.

The 26-year-old was given the opportunity to join another club in Janurary and since fans have speculated about his future. However, a player who vehemently defends Newcastle United on Twitter is surely a player looking to stick around.
