The agent of Red Bull Salzburg forward Benjamin Sesko has certainly made his client’s name known in Newcastle this week.

Several Newcastle United fans probably weren’t aware who the young Slovenian was until his agent’s cryptic Instagram activity got everyone talking.

It all started on Tuesday when Elvis Basanovic, Sesko’s agent, posted ‘destination?’ and the two-eyes emoji from an airport.

And not long after, Basanovic pictured himself enjoying a meal on Newcastle’s Quayside.

Eagle-eyed United fans caught wind of Basanovic’s activity on Wednesday morning, where the huge amount of traction forced Basanovic to delete his posts.

Why Basanovic was on Tyneside remains unclear, although it brings a lot of intrigue, with the striker fitting Newcastle’s striker profile.

Eddie Howe thought Hugo Ekitike would become a Newcastle player this summer but he opted to join Paris Saint-Maximin.

And in many ways, Sesko is in a similar bracket to Ekitike - a 19-year-old with very high potential, dubbed as the next Erling Haaland.

Benjamin Sesko’s agent is at it again...

Whether Sesko leaves Salzburg this summer remains to be seen, but his agent’s latest post has again got people talking.

Via the Pro Transfer Agency account, Basanovic posted: “3, 2, 1 … Ready for … 👀🙏🔥🔥🔥”

“@benjaminsesko, @fcredbullsalzburg, @nzs_si.

“Ready for Eddie?”, replied one Newcastle fan, while another said “ready for NUFC”.

If the hashtags are anything to go by, then this definitely another cryptic post by Basanovic.
