St James’ Park will once again be under the floodlights for a huge Champions League clash as Newcastle United play host to Borussia Dortmund in the first of two back to back games with the 1997 winners.

The Magpies enter the fixture at top of the Group F after an exceptional start which has seen them pick up a 0-0 draw away at AC Milan before recording a historic 4-1 victory at home to French champions PSG.

Eddie Howe’s men are unbeaten in their last eight matches in all competitions and are full of confidence after their recent 4-0 victory over Crystal Palace.

But they face a huge challenge against an in-form Borussia Dortmund side who are unbeaten in the Bundesliga this season with six victories and two draws from their opening eight matches.

The German outfit will be determined to climb off the bottom of the group after a 2-0 loss to PSG and a 0-0 draw with AC Milan. But who is likely to start for Edin Terzic’s men and who are the main threats for Newcastle to watch out for?
