Having helped take the team to the Champions League for the first time in two decades, silverware surely has to be next on the list for Guimaraes on Tyneside.

Speaking about his Newcastle future recently, he said: "I feel at home here. I'm very happy to be here to be playing and be part of this giant club's story. For me it's important and everyone knows how much I like the club, the fans, the support. For me, it's like having something to remember my country [Brazil]."

Speaking earlier this year, Guimaraes, named North East Football Writers’ Association player of the year, also said: Previously, Guimaraes described the decision to join Newcastle as: “The best thing that has happened in my life. I’m so happy here and I’m living my dream here. I think about [staying at Newcastle a long time]. When I signed, [I thought] I would like to put my name in the club’s story. I think I’m doing it, but, of course, to get my name there, I need to win a title. I know what a title means for the club’s story.

“People grow up and they never see Newcastle as champions. My motivation here is to win a title for the club.”

Strong words from the midfielder, who is set to sign a new deal at Newcastle this summer.

But one thing the player wants to make sure people do get right, is how to spell his name.

Taking to Twitter to push a compilation video put together by fan/content producer, Guimaraes makes sure to correct the account for their sloppy spelling.

Guimaraes is currently training with former club Fluminense as he bids to stay fit for international duty with Brazil. Bruno is joined by Joelinton in the Selecao squad, who hopes to make his senior international bow this month after his maiden call up.
