Crystal Palace 'agree personal terms' with defender as Newcastle United bid £65m for Marc Guehi
The Eagles are assessing their options in the transfer market with both centre-backs Marc Guehi and Joachim Andersen the subject of bids from Newcastle United and Fulham, respectively.
The Magpies have submitted four offers for Guehi, the latest worth £65million including add-ons. Although talks are continuing, an agreement is yet to be reached after the 24-year-old captained Palace in their Premier League opener away to Brentford on Sunday.

According to Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg, Oliver Glasner’s side could sign Lacroix, either as a replacement or in addition.
“Crystal Palace, still pushing to sign Maxence #Lacroix … and personal terms are agreed,” Plettenberg posted on X on Friday before pushing the story again on Sunday night.
“Oliver Glasner really wants him as a possible replacement for Marc Guéhi or in addition. Understand the 24 y/o central defender from Wolfsburg is currently their top target for this position.

Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish appeared on talkSPORT on Sunday morning and told listeners the South London club still hadn’t received the right offer for Guehi.
Eddie Howe twice warned over the weekend that Newcastle aren’t afraid to walk away from “silly money” deals.
