Eddie Howe dedicates Tottenham Hotspur win to young fan for this adorable reason

Eddie Howe sent an amazing response to a young fan after he was invited to their birthday party.

Ahead of Newcastle United’s 6-1 thrashing of Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, Howe personally replied to the invitation and dedicated the win to them.

The Magpies’ head coach said: ‘Thank you so much for your lovely letter and your very kind invitations (to your party and for a cup of tea!)

‘I am so sorry I cannot make your birthday party, I still have lots of work to do before the end of the season. I am sure you will have a brilliant time with your family and friends at [redacted.]

‘I can see you are all doing very well at school as your writing and spelling is brilliant, keep up the good work.

‘I hope you get to watch some of our matches and sing for the Toon Army, we will try to win our match against Tottenham this weekend for you!’

The letter has left many fans declaring how incredible Eddie Howe is and how much he cares about the fans.

One fan said: ‘Can that man get any better. It’s no wonder the players want to die for their manager when he is the type of person he seems to be.
