Eddie Howe’s reported Newcastle United salary - compared to Leeds United, Manchester United & Everton bosses

Where does Newcastle United’s Eddie Howe sit in a list of salaries earned by last season’s Premier League managers?

Eddie Howe has enjoyed a hectic summer as he looks to add further quality to his Newcastle United squad for the new Premier League season.

And it’s safe to say the former Bournemouth boss has made a big impact on Tyneside since he was named as successor to Steve Bruce in November last year.

After inheriting a side sat in the relegation zone and without a win to their name, the hard work of Howe and his coaching staff, not to mention an impressive recruitment drive in January, helped United end the season in mid-table.

All focus is now on further strengthening his squad ahead in preparation for August’s big kick-off and the Magpies have made an eye-catching start to the summer transfer window.

With Nick Pope, Sven Botman and Matt Targett already added to the senior ranks, at least two more singings are expected to be made before the close of business in early September.

For Howe, the priority now is getting down to what he does best and working with his squad on the training ground and fine-tuning his plans before Nottingham Forest visit St James Park on the first day of the campaign.

The former Bournemouth manager has been a shrewd addition by the Magpies hierachy - but how much does he earn and how does it compare to last season’s Premier League rivals?
