Newcastle United are one three Premier League clubs being linked with a move for Juventus’ highly-rated winger, Samuel Iling-Junior.

The-19-year-old joined the Serie A giants from Chelsea in a reported £100,000 deal in September 2020 and has quickly progressed through the club’s youth system and made his way into Massimiliano Allegri’s first-team squad earlier this season.

Debuting as a late substitute for Filip Kostic in a 4-0 home win against Empoli in October, Illing-Junior gave an honest assessment of where his career was at, despite the notable high of making his bow in Serie A, telling Juve TV: “I am very happy, a special moment for me, the family, the people I train with every day. Serie A football. it is different from that of C, there are so many things to understand and learn”

His progress was rewarded with a new contract in December as the England Under-20 star committed himself to Juve until the summer of 2025 - but his progress, coupled with his club’s well-reported financial issues, have led to interest from Newcastle, Manchester City and former club Chelsea, according to a report in 90Min. German clubs Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich have also been linked with a move for the youngster.

Dutch giants ‘agree to departure’ of Magpies target

Another 90Min report has suggested PSV Eindhoven are ready to allow Newcastle target Ibrahim Sangare to leave the club this summer.

The Ivory Coast international was reportedly one of several midfielders being monitored as United look to strengthen their options in the middle of the park during the summer transfer window. They are far from alone in their admiration of the 25-year-old, with Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur all said to be keen on a move for the former Toulouse star, who still has four years remaining on his current deal.
