Emil Krafth wasn’t included in the squad for Sunday’s 3-1 win at Nottingham Forest. Eddie Howe wasn’t pressed on the right-back’s absence but it has since been confirmed he missed out through injury.
The 30-year-old had featured in every matchday squad this campaign, making six starts in total.

“The men's national team gathers on Monday in Marbella, Spain, to recharge before the upcoming final matches in the group stage of the Nations League. Slovakia awaits next Saturday and the Tuesday after that Azerbaijan at the Strawberry Arena.
“Now, however, it is clear that two slopes are forced to withdraw from the collection. It's about Newcastle's Emil Krafth and Eric Smith, FC St Pauli. Both of them miss the gathering due to injuries.
“Union captain Jon Dahl Tomasson has on Sunday called Emil Holm, Bologna FC, and Samuel Dahl, AS Roma into the squad.”

Hide AdAlexander Isak, who scored the equaliser in the win at Forest, is due to link up with Sweden as planned.
Miguel Almiron, Bruno Guimaraes, Emil Krafth and Martin Dubravka are heading away on international duty while Lewis Hall and Anthony Gordon have been called up for England.
However, Gordon is a doubt for the Three Lions’ Nations League fixtures against Greece and the Republic of Ireland after limping off at the City Ground with a hip issue.
“It looks like a similar problem he had the other week with his hip,” said Howe. “We hope it is not serious. I don't know more at the moment. I'd say [he is a doubt for England] because he came off yes."
