Upgrades were the name of the game over the summer at St James’ Park as Newcastle United raced to get the stadium Champions League ready.

The old Leazes Sports Bar made way for corporate seating and a new hospitality suite ‘Wings,’ named in celebration of the club’s former wingers.

Existing season ticket holders in that section of the Leazes End were forced to relocate in order to make way for UEFA delegates ahead of United’s first home clash against PSG on 4th October.

And after officially opening last week for the club’s 1-0 victory over Brentford, fans have now been treated to a glimpse of the high-end suite that will host the Champions League officials.

Costing £350 + VAT per-person per-match, attendees are offered a modern-style bistro menu, bar, wine or soft drink on arrival and a post-match snack.
