Matt Hancock broke the internet when his imminent appearance on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! was announced earlier this week. The former Health Secretary is a Newcastle United fan, but supporters may be reluctant to support the politician given the controversy surrounding his name.
Despite being born in Chester, Hancock has family from the North East and that's how he ended up supporting the Magpies. He has regularly shared his following for the club online.
Following news that he would be appearing on the hit ITV show, Hancock had the Tory party whip suspended in the latest moment of contention.
