Is Newcastle United v Fulham on TV? Where to catch the Premier League clash
Newcastle United host Fulham in the Premier League at St James’ Park.
If Nottingham Forest slip up against Brighton and Hove Albion in the early Premier League kick-off - Newcastle United could go third with a win against Fulham.
The incentive is there, but will the performance match?
A fortnight ago, in their last match at St James’ Park against a top six-chasing rival, Eddie Howe’s men looked leggy and jaded - and were put to the sword by Andoni Iraola’s AFC Bournemouth. The Magpies did head to the south coast to redeem themselves by brushing aside bottom of the pile Southampton - but this weekend brings the proper challenge.
Fulham are just outside the Champions League race, but are showing ambitions to get involved. And, importantly, they know how to play against Newcastle, having also taken three points in the reverse fixture at Craven Cottage.
But, if you haven’t got a ticket for the game, where can you watch it? Here’s some details of how to keep up to date with everything going on St James’ Park.
When is Newcastle United v Fulham?
The game will kick off at 3pm GMT on Saturday, February 1.
The match will be played at St James’ Park, where the Magpies had won the five games previous to slipping up against the Cherries a fortnight ago.
Is Newcastle v Fulham on TV?
For UK viewers, the game will NOT be broadcast on TV. BBC Radio Newcastle will have coverage on the airwaves providing full match commentary. Alternatively, our reporter, Jordan Cronin, will be in attendance, along with myself, Liam Kennedy, with full analysis on social media.
Who is injured for Newcastle United? Teams news
Newcastle have Nick Pope (knee) back in their squad. He was on the bench at Southampton, with Martin Dubravka retaining his place. However, Callum Wilson (hamstring), Harvey Barnes (thigh) and Jamaal Lascelles (knee) remain sidelined.
Wilson, according to Howe, is said to be close and could return for next week’s Carabao Cup semi-final against Arsenal.
Newcastle will, of course, have to do without the services of Miguel Almiron, who has completed a move to former club Atlanta United.
