The Newcastle United Supporters Trust has deemed the process for Newcastle United fans to secure Carabao Cup final tickets as "fair".
In a Tweet shared earlier today, the official NUFC Supporters Trust account told followers that they had been involved in conversations with the club and were pleased with the outcome.

The message commended the club for prioritising "loyalty and attendance" in the ticket rollout, which is split into seven different 'periods' for fans with varying purchase histories.
The NUFC Supporters Tust Tweet read: "The Trust was able to feedback to Newcastle United that their ticket policy for the League Cup final is fair. It rewards loyalty and attendance in the competition.
"It’s positive that supporters have received the info quickly and the club have been transparent with their plans."

The ticketing scheme was confirmed by Newcastle United on Thursday with the first wave of tickets going on sale this Monday, February 6 at 10 am. Those tickets will be for season ticket holders with 25+ loyalty points who have attended at least one Carabao Cup match this season.
That first ticket sale wave will close at 8 am on Tuesday, February 7 with a new wave following every day. Once the fourth group of eligible fans step up to buy tickets, a ballot system will be in place.
Some fans have raised concerns on social media sharing wishes that the ticket rollout had more of a priority for those who had held a Newcastle United season ticket for a long time, rather than the number of cup games attended this year.

Others asked whether purchase history should come into play given how difficult it can be for fans to secure season tickets at the moment.
Many also thanked the Newcastle United Supporters Trust for their work in lobbying for the ticket process.
