Evan Ferguson netted a hat-trick, first opening the scoring in the first-half following an error by Nick Pope. He then beat the United goalkeeper from distance just after the hour-mark before adding a third via a shot that deflected off Fabian Schar.
Substitute Callum Wilson scored a consolation goal during injury time as United lost three successive Premier League games for the first time since April 2022.
