The Magpies could well improve the goalkeeper position this summer, and according to Goal, they could be among the potential suitors for Atletico Madrid superstar Jan Oblak.

Oblak will be in the final year of his contract next season, and that could put Atleti in a vulnerable position this summer.

They will almost certainly try to tie him down to a new long-term deal before that, even with some questionable form this season, but if they don’t, the Magpies may have their shot.
