Newcastle United injury blow as £55m duo ruled out of Burnley clash - £60m star starts
Newcastle United are without Callum Wilson and Sven Botman for this afternoon’s Premier League clash against Burnley at St James’ Park (kick-off 3pm).
After both scoring in the Magpies’ 8-0 win at Sheffield United last Sunday, the pair were left out of the squad for the 1-0 win over Manchester City in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.

Hide AdWilson had tightness in his hamstring while Botman had a knee issue. And following a late fitness on Friday, the duo have been ruled out against Vincent Kompany’s Clarets.
Jamaal Lascelles captains the side and partners Fabian Schar at centre-back in eight changes from Eddie Howe.
£60m club-record signing Alexander Isak has been passed fit. The Swede, who is United’s joint-top scorer with four goals level with Wilson, went off with a calf issue shortly after scoring against City.
