Winger stance

Barcelona winger Raphinha is happy at the Camp Nou despite links with Newcastle and others this summer. The Brazil international, who moved to Spain last year from Leeds United, has scored 10 goals in 47 appearances in all competitions this term.

He is happy where he is and has told BeIN Sports, via reporter Fabrizio Romano on Twitter: “It’s very clear, I want to stay here for many more years to come.”

Former striker latest

Former Newcastle striker Jon Dahl Tomasson could emerge on Feyenoord’s radar if their boss Arne Slot leaves for Tottenham Hotspur at the end of this campaign, as per The Sun. The 46-year-old has been in charge at Blackburn Rovers since last year having previously been at Malmo and his side just missed out on the Championship play-offs on their final day.

The ex-Denmark international spent a year with the Toon Army during his playing career and scored four goals in 35 games after signing from SC Heerenveen. He also had stints at Feyenoord, AC Milan and Stuttgart before hanging up his boots back in 2011.
