Matt Targett has become Newcastle United’s fourth signing of the January transfer window.
The Magpies confirmed the left-back has joined on loan until the end of the season, though it is unclear if the agreement includes an option to buy.

Targett is a Premier League experienced full-back, making over 100 appearances for Southampton and Villa.
He was an ever-present member of Villa’s starting XI last season.
