A Newcastle United player seems to have come out in full support of a popular transfer rumour for the summer window.

Toon fans everywhere are ecstatic at the prospect of their club signing West Ham and England midfielder Declan Rice.

Before the winter transfer window, Rice made it known he had ambitions beyond his club with his sights set on the Champions League and trophies.

And yesterday multiple sources appeared to confirm Newcastle have made contact with the 24-year-old, but so have many other clubs- Arsenal and Manchester United are also reportedly interested.

But now there has been some public approval from inside the Newcastle United squad, with centre-back Sven Botman liking an Instagram post on Transfermarkt’s page linking Declan Rice to the Mags.

The excitement comes at a cost, however, with the transfer rumours page placing an apparent £80 million price tag on Rice.

Still, the idea of the Hammer linking up in midfield alongside Bruno is a match made in heaven for Newcastle fans.
